The hand of this very realistic painter focuses on peace. Mihanović paints this peace with a perfectly controlled stroke that creates the rough surface of a stone wall, the fine smoothness of pebbles washed by the sea, the slight bruise of a silent wave, the trace of rust on a boat. In Zvonimir’s paintings we see how his craft becomes a pledge of poetics: the peace of the hand is the peace of the scenery.
