Time is a dynamic category. It flows like a swollen river, moves wood and stones,
devastates like wind, drifts away like a storm, erodes like waves. Time can be heard. Stopped time is expressed with silence. Poetic imagination in numerous variations links time to the sea: they are equally immense, their caprices are equally impenetrable and they equally swallow people’s destinies. But once the storms pass, the winds cease to howl, and the waves are calm, the silence of the sea stops time. Zvonimir Mihanović paints the language of silence.
